An Anthology of Occult Wisdom

For years I heard stories about the mythic file cabinet in Dolores’s office. Now for the first time these files have been opened and published. This book is first in a series of 10. Articles dating from the early ‘70s until the present. Not since Israel Regardie published the secrets of the Golden Dawn, has so much new information come to light. $20.00 + s&h

The Giftie

The Giftie is based upon the very real character of Robert Kirk, the Gaelic scholar of Aberfoyle, who disappeared bodily into the Otherworld in 1691. For over a generation after his death young women in the Trossachs, in the last stages of their labour, would go to his old house and give birth there, in the hope of bringing him back into the world. $15.00 + s&h

Shadows and Light

This is a new collection of short stories by the internationally known authority on ritual magic, Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki. Unlike many short story collections, none of the material in Shadows and Light has been previously published anywhere, in any form. Much more than a simple work of fiction, Shadows and Light represents a unique distillation of
esoteric wisdom. $15.00 + s&h

The Moon Boat and Other Poems

Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, author of more than twenty esoteric books, has chosen poetry as the only form possible to express the nuances of subtle worlds and extraordinary realities. This volume contains more esoteric truths and teachings than a dozen heavy arcane tomes. $10.00 + s&h

The Tarot Tip Sheet

Beginners and experienced tarot readers alike will love this fold out chart. All 72 cards are explained, plus instructions on how to do a
4-card spread. $6.95 + s&h

Datura Press is a small esoteric publisher, dedicated to making quality occult works available to the public, while treating authors like valuable human beings.

Datura Press was launched in 1999 with the Tarot Tip Sheet. We had no aspirations of being a publisher back then. Honestly I just wanted to publish my own work. Apparently the gods had other plans!

in 2007 Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki approached me about making a book out of a collection of her poetry. We sold it at her workshops. The first run didn’t even have a UPC code! Then there were the short stories, and now the Servants of the Light Archives.

Along the way Alan Richardson (expert on Dion Fortune, among other things) joined the Datura Press family.
